Independent Speech and Language Therapist

Having completed my training at University College London with a BSc (Hons) in Speech Sciences in 1998 I worked in the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist for a number of years trying to find my perfect job. In 2006 I set up my independent practice. I am pleased to say I have now found my perfect job. I am extremely lucky to be able to provide speech and language therapy to families and children where I can provide the type and amount of therapy that is felt to be best suited to the individual and family I am working with.

I am passionate about developing children’s communication to the highest level they can achieve.

I have two children of my own so understand the pressures that parents face when trying to help their children achieve their full potential. We can do this within a fun, relaxed atmosphere so the children hopefully never realise how hard they are working!

I have to admit to being an outdoorsy person and love nothing better than a family walk on a Sunday afternoon or sneaking off and indulging my love of riding.

Little known facts about me:

  • I cannot surf to save my life!
  • I hate not doing something that scares me (just a little bit)!
